about me

I am a web designer based out of Austin, TX. I work for Bazaarvoice as an Implementation Designer. I work with CSS and graphics to style Bazaarvoice products, such as Ratings & Reviews, to match high-profile client sites. I also am working on creating templates of our products, reducing time spent per project, and refining best practices.

Originally from Alabama, I obtained my BS in Communication & Graphic Design from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2007. I worked as a Creative Intern at Squeaky Wheel Media in New York City the summer after my senior year. I moved from there to Newburyport, MA to take a job as an Interactive Designer at iMarc. At iMarc I was the lead designer on my team, with full creative direction on my projects. In 2008, I moved to Troy, NY to work at Berkshire Marketing Group, a healthcare marketing firm, as an Art Director/Designer. I was responsible for all our web clients, as well as helping my team with strategies, identity, print, and video.

I am also actively freelancing. I have worked with id29, the Albany Institute of History and Art, Reflection's Edge, and most recently, the Capital Region Craft Brewer's Festival website, in conjunction with upstate NY rockstar designers JackAdam.
